A young professional on "sabbatical" finds his way into a small Georgia Town, taking an interest in an old man stuck in baseball games long since passed. Each day, the empty field comes to life with stories of runs batted in and bad calls.

About the Author:

Dunn Neugebauer is the author of “Funny Conversations with God – an Uncalled-for Dialogue” – published in 2012. He has written sports for many newspapers, including the Tampa Tribune and Palm Beach Post in Florida and the Marietta Daily Journal in Georgia. He has a book coming out this fall – “Rock Bottom, Then Up Again (And Other Spiritual Essays).” He lives in Atlanta – where he writes, coaches and substitute teaches at a local high school.
